To reduce energy consumption and improve system efficiency in cement grinding systems, a combined semi-final grinding process is now widely adopted. The intelligent dual-drive powder precision classifying equipment, a key component of this energy-saving system, utilizes a dual-drive, dual-cage structure for enhanced powder selection efficiency and precise classification. It separates materials into four distinct categories: finished product, large particles, coarse powder, and medium-coarse powder. This breakthrough in traditional grinding processes significantly increases system output and achieves significant energy savings and consumption reductions.

Product Advantages

  1. The material is divided into three categories: coarse powder (>200µm), medium-coarse powder (200µm < d < 30µm), and fine powder (<30µm). The primary and secondary classification zones pre-separate the coarse particles from the mixed powder, eliminating interference from coarse particles. This results in high classification accuracy and a separation efficiency exceeding 80%.

    This allows for wide variations in separation air volume, output, and feed rate without affecting separation efficiency, resulting in highly stable classification performance.

    Combining multiple separation principles, the entire flow field is optimized using aerodynamic analysis methods. The resulting uniform and stable air flow field on the surface of the separation rings: the relative error in airflow velocity at any point is <5%.
    Equipment resistance is significantly reduced, resulting in significant energy savings.

    The fineness can be adjusted arbitrarily, ensuring high sensitivity and reliability.
  1. The spatial dimensions of the separation and lifting zones have been optimized. Its compact structure and small size make it suitable for closed-circuit grinding systems consisting of any grinding equipment. It is suitable for open-circuit mill conversions, single-circuit mills, and double-circuit mills, especially for semi-final and final grinding systems with roller presses.

    Highly susceptible to wear, including the powder selection chamber, cyclone, snail horn, air guide vanes, and rotor, are made of wear-resistant materials or treated with anti-wear processes, effectively extending their service life.
  1. The new design of the main shaft lower bearing seal effectively eliminates two major issues: dust ingress and lubricant leakage, effectively extending the service life of the lower bearing.

Working Principle

After being broken up and classified by the V-type powder classifier, the material follows the airflow into the lower powder selection area of the intelligent dual-drive powder precision grading equipment. After being graded by the lower rotating cage, coarse particles with d ≥ 0.2 mm (adjustable particle size) are first sorted and returned to the weighing bin through the discharge pipe. Materials with d < 0.2 mm continue to rise with the airflow through the lower rotating cage device and enter the upper powder selection area, where they are further sorted by the guide vanes and the upper cage rotor. The upper sorting process primarily achieves effective classification based on the balance between centrifugal force and air resistance (Stokes force). When the cage rotor, composed of vertical blades in the intelligent dual-drive powder precision grading equipment, rotates, the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the rotor is maintained at a constant value throughout the entire powder selection area, thereby ensuring stable and uniform airflow and creating excellent conditions for accurate powder selection. Every particle of the material is given the opportunity to be sorted repeatedly from top to bottom. Moreover, multiple sorting processes are carried out under the accurate balance of centrifugal force and horizontal air resistance. Medium-coarse powder with a particle size of 0.032mm≤d≤0.2mm (adjustable) enters the ball mill through the medium-coarse powder cone; fine powder with a particle size of d≤0.032mm (adjustable) passes through the upper rotating cage and is discharged together with the air flow. It is collected by the collecting device and then enters the cement product system.
