Innovation of Cement Ultrafine Powder Equipment, Promoting Solid Waste Resource Utilization and Cement Performance Improvement

In cement production, ultrafine powder can not only improve the fluidity of cement paste, but also be mixed with a large amount of industrial solid waste (such as slag and fly ash) to promote the green transformation of the industry. This demand has driven the continuous breakthrough of cement ultrafine powder equipment technology. Recently, domestic enterprises have launched "ball mill + vertical mill combined ultrafine powder preparation equipment". Based on the characteristics of cement and solid waste materials, it optimizes the proportion of grinding media and grinding trajectory, and can crush materials into ultrafine powder with a specific surface area of 600-800m²/kg.​
After this equipment was applied in a cement enterprise, the slag mixing amount increased from 30% to 50%, the clinker consumption per ton of cement was reduced by 150kg, and the 3-day compressive strength of cement increased by 4MPa. The 28-day compressive strength increased by 6MPa. This not only reduces the cost of raw materials but also improves the competitiveness of cement products. According to industry data, the market demand for domestic cement ultrafine powder equipment increased by 30% year-on-year in 2024. It is expected that the high growth will continue in the future, promoting the further improvement of the resource utilization rate of solid waste in the cement industry.
