Product Advantages

The Improved O-SEPA Eddy Current Classifier is a fourth-generation, high-efficiency classifier that utilizes the principle of horizontal eddy currents for classification. Our company has improved and perfected this powder classifying equipment by introducing foreign technology and combining it with specific domestic production practices. It is widely used in the cement industry, grading powders, and other industrial materials. It offers advantages such as high production, low energy consumption, large processing capacity, and simple operation and maintenance.

The Improved O-SEPA classifier utilizes a vortex field, volute design, and optimized guide vane parameters optimized through finite element analysis. This results in a uniform, stable, and powerful vortex field for classifying powders, low flow resistance, low noise, and high classifying efficiency, effectively reducing dust collector fan power.

The Improved O-SEPA classifier utilizes a nationally patented rotor blade design. The classifying area extends into the rotor cascade, eliminating airflow acceleration and minimizing wake loss. The rotor cascade also provides low resistance to airflow and reduces power consumption. Numerous user feedback indicates that using Jinengda's series of Improved O-SEPA classifiers can save 30% to 40% energy.

The rotor of the improved O-SEPA powder classifier is equipped with a nationally patented eddy current breaker. The airflow inside the rotor only rises but does not rotate relative to the rotor. The driving force on the rotor is reduced due to the reduction of kinetic energy after the airflow enters the rotor, which saves driving power and reduces wear.

Working Principle

The classifier's outlet elbow connects to the dust collector's inlet. Air is drawn into the classifier's vortex housing through the primary and secondary air inlets by the dust collector's fan. Driven by the guide vanes, the rotor's rotation, and the fixed buffer plates, a stable, horizontal, circular vortex is formed between the guide vanes and the rotor. Grinded material is fed into the classifier's feed port and evenly distributed by the rotating spreader. The retaining ring blocks the material, allowing it to fall dispersed into the classifier's vortex between the guide vanes and the rotor. Dust particles moving within the vortex are simultaneously affected by gravity, wind, and centrifugal force. Fine, light particles are drawn into the rotor with the airflow and collected in the dust collector through the air outlet, becoming the finished product. Coarse, heavy particles fall down and are collected in the coarse powder outlet of the lower cone, returning to the mill for further grinding, thus forming a closed-circuit system. Changing the rotor speed effectively adjusts the fineness of the finished product.
