Features: The grinding chamber is CNC-machined from two solid steel plates, eliminating welds, rotating parts, and dead angles, making it easy to disassemble and clean, and ensuring high product purity. The adiabatic expansion of the gas accelerates and cools the particles, while high-speed particle collisions increase their temperature. However, the adiabatic expansion reduces this temperature, keeping the material temperature low throughout the pulverization process. This makes it particularly suitable for pulverizing heat-sensitive or low-melting-point materials. Cleaning-in-place (CIP) and sterilization-in-place (SIP) processes are easily implemented, making it suitable for the production of injectable-grade sterile drugs. The average particle size is small, typically less than 5 μm (with a pulverization ratio of 1 to 50), which also facilitates the breakup of agglomerates.

Product Advantages

    Working Principle

    The airflow mill, along with a cyclone separator, dust collector, and induced draft fan, forms a complete pulverizing system. After being cooled, filtered, and dried, compressed air is injected at high speed into the pulverizing chamber through multiple Laval nozzles. At the intersection of these multiple high-pressure airflows, the material is repeatedly pulverized by collision, friction, and shearing. The pulverized material follows the rising airflow through the high-speed rotating classifying wheel, where centrifugal and centripetal forces separate the coarse and fine materials. Fine particles that meet the required particle size pass through the grading zone and are collected in the cyclone separator and dust collector, while the coarse particles return to the pulverizing zone for further pulverization.
